by nxojkt on Oct.01, 2009, under Miscellaneous
Yep, you read that right. Okay, it was a joke by the folks at Florida. But it’s a damn funny one.
In the University of Florida Disaster Preparedness Manual, after hurricanes and the like, situation #5 is Zombie Attack.
AMC + Frank Darabont + Zombies
by nxojkt on Aug.12, 2009, under Television
Why does the idea of this please me?
- AMC currently has two of television’s best shows in Mad Men and Breaking Bad
- Frank Darabont has adapted for the screen and directed The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, and The Mist.
- Do you need a justification for zombies? Because, if you do, maybe you’re in the wrong place.
The folks at Aint It Cool News are reporting that AMC and Frank Darabont are close to signing a deal for Darabont to write and direct an adaptation of Robert Kirkman’s graphic novel “The Walking Dead.”
I think it’s safe to say that I’ll be watching.
Knott’s Berry Farm will feauture Zombieland for Halloween
by MadWatchStudios on Aug.12, 2009, under Cedar Fair Parks, Movies
The LA Times is reporting that Knott’s Berry Farm will have a scare zone themed to the upcoming film Zombieland, for their Halloween Haunt 2009 event. According to the article, the horror comedy film shot a few scenes at Wild Adventures – a park in Valdosta, Georgia. I’ve been to that park, so I’m looking forward to the movie even more. Unfortunately I can’t make a trip out to Knott’s Berry Farm just for Halloween this year.
You can read the full article at the LA Times here, although the article has more information about the film than the scare zone.
Knott’s Halloween Haunt runs from September 24th to October 31st. Zombieland opens in theaters October 9th.
