Last night the guys from RiffTrax, Mike Nelson, Kevin Murphy, and Bill Corbett, hosted a live event via sattelite that was broadcast all over the nation.  The show started at  7 but the feature Plan 9 from Outer Space, didn’t start for about 35 minutes.

All though most of the preshow was pretty funny, especailly the 3 guys riffing on a black and white short called Flying Stewardess, it dragged on longer than I would have liked.  Most of my displeasure from the opening act of Jonathan Coulton was probably just a result of my intense desire to see what I came to see.  His song “All I Wanna Do Is Eat Your Brains” is pretty funny, but I was just there to see Mike Nelson, Crow (Bill Corbett), and Tom Servo (Kevin Murphy).

The movie commentary was, as always, halarious.  The three guys played off of each other perfectly.  The first 30 minutes were side-splitting.  I laughed so hard several times that I missed the following joke!  There was a little bit of a slower patch in the middle, either that or I was just to tired of laughing.  But they finished strong!
