Nolan’s Next Batman Entirely in IMAX

According to the folks over at AintitCoolNews.com, Christopher Nolan is considering shooting the entirety of his next Batman film in IMAX. There were several scenes of The Dark Knight that were filmed this way, and Nolan apparently fell in love with the technology.
Not only does it take considerably longer to set up the camera to shoot a shot in IMAX, but there had to be special lenses created for the shots in Dark Knight. So an entire movie shot this way would be enormously expensive. Coming off of the success of the last Batman film, Nolan likely has plenty of clout… so if he’s ever going to push for something like this, now is the time.
