Where’s Waldo? Apparently At Universal Studios

The popular Univeral Pictures Studio has acquired the film rights for the adaptation of the beloved children’s book series. Paramount and Nickelodeon Studios owned the original rights to the film.
Though it is not clear what the plot will be, the original storyline involved a 30-year-old Waldo accidentally switching on a time machine and going on crazy adventures through time.
At first glance, I gave this a no-way-in-hell pass, but after thinking about it, this film could easily go the same route as Alvin And The Chipmunks and become widely successful, so I’m not counting this one out just yet.
