New Producers Hired for Doctor Who

The BBC has hired three new producers for the upcoming fifth series of Doctor Who, which will see the debut of Matt Smith as the eleventh incarnation of the ever-popular Time Lord.
Tracie Simpson and Peter Bennett will carry the title of producer, while Beth Willis will serve as executive producer.
Simpson produced “Planet of the Dead,” the recent Doctor Who Easter special, while Bennett is producer of the upcoming Torchwood mini-series. Willis comes to the Whoniverse from a production position on Ashes to Ashes, the sequel series to Life on Mars.
